We attended the preview of the Fox Kids & Baby CNY Collection recently, and Noah was kept busy by the Chinese Calligraphy and Finger Painting Workshop, so that I could shop in peace. A good thing too, because there were just so many adorable outfits to choose from!

When we first got to the store, Noah was thrilled to see his current favourite character, Mickey Mouse, on a few of the tees. He made a beeline for them, and insisted on trying on one, even before I could take a proper look around the store. I have no idea why he likes it so much, when he has never even watched a single Mickey Mouse cartoon before! Thankfully, he got distracted by the workshop, which gave me some time to select an outfit for him.
Even though I was supposed to be picking out clothes for Noah, I couldn’t help but gush over how cute the girls’ outfits were. There were so many pretty tops and dresses, and I’m sure mums with girls will have a real headache trying to decide which ones to get for their daughters. Don’t get me wrong, the boys’ collection has a good range to choose from, and I did have trouble picking out only one outfit for Noah, but I have a real soft spot for pretty little dresses.
I caved and selected the Mickey Mouse top for him, because I knew it would be easier getting him to try on the clothes, and also because it was really cute. I layered it with a long-sleeved shirt, with the sleeves rolled and buttoned up, so that he looks a little more dressed up. Noah doesn’t have a pair of jeans yet, so I thought this was the perfect pair, since I could jazz it up a little by adding the suspenders, or remove them for a different look.
What I selected (Noah wore the red version of the Mickey Mouse tee for the shoot, but changed his mind, and asked for the blue one after that.)
After Noah put on his new outfit, he had a mini photo shoot!
