We popped by the National Museum of Singapore’s Bras Basah.Bugis Arts Flea Market aka BBBFleaMarket aka Public Garden on Saturday and had a great time! There were so many quaint little stalls, selling a wide variety of items, and I had a really tough time trying not to buy too many things.
Welcome to Public Garden!
Bird’s Eye View
Two Floors of Shopping Fun
Noah loves shopping too!
It being the Easter weekend, it was lovely to see a Christian stall, Gracesmiths, amidst the crowd.
Some of the interesting stalls
Cakes galore
Cute artwork from Little Shop of Dreams
There was also space for people to take a break from all the shopping.
What did we buy? This yummy cake from Red Chocolate! (Among other things, of course.)
Looking at the photos on the Public Garden Facebook page now, I think we missed out many booths! Maybe it was because we were there too early, and not all the stalls were up yet. Looks like we’ll just have to visit the next one then! 🙂
The National Museum of Singapore was also having an Open House at the same time, which meant free admission to the exhibitions. We took the opportunity to check out one of them.
It was a nice way to spend a Saturday afternoon, just strolling around in the museum and enjoying our time together as a little family. I’m looking forward to the next Public Garden event already!
PS. You can ‘like’ the Public Garden Facebook page to get updates on their next event.
